Patti McCabe, Director
Patti started working at Casa Marianella in 1999 as a full-time volunteer. In the following years she worked as Assistant Director of Casa, and then, as Posada opened its doors in 2003, she became Director of Posada Esperanza.
Amelia Phan
Amelia graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies. During her time in college she spent a school year studying abroad and exploring the beautiful country of Peru. Before coming to Posada she spent time teaching adult ESL classes at El Buen Samaritano.
Bridget Brewer
Bridget holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bates College in English and Studio Art. She is currently volunteering with Posada through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps program. Before Posada, Bridget worked with Birdsnest, a Christian orphanage for girls in India.
Catie Johnston
Catie left the pine woods of East Texas to study Social Work and Spanish at St. Edward’s University in Austin. Along the way she traveled, studied, worked, and otherwise adventured her way through El Salvador, Spain and Chile, to name a few. She is thrilled to start working at Posada, which is a dream of hers for 4 years since she first heard of Casa Marianella in an Intro to Social Work class.
