Celebrating the Lives of Two Champions

This week we lost two of our champions. Our beloved volunteer Jorge Huerta and retired Bishop John McCarthy, former Wendler award winner:

Jorge Huerta recently wrote a beautiful piece about his experience at Casa helping residents:

Today we remember these two heroes and celebrate their lives. Both were full of love, kindness and generosity. We are so thankful for the many years they devoted to serving the community and supporting our mission to welcome displaced immigrants, to promote self-sufficiency and to provide them with shelter and support services.
