Casa Marianella Participating in Giving Tuesday 2017

We’re just a month away from #GivingTuesday, a harmonious global day of donating, fueled by  social media and the power of the Internet.

Last year Casa Marianella participated, with donations coming in from far and wide to help us continue our mission of hosting asylum seekers and immigrants from across the globe. All in all, over $177,000,000 was raised for charities across the world, in over 98 countries.

This year, Casa is participating again, and we could not be more excited to be a part of another epic fundraising mission! We’re using the hashtags #GivingTuesday and #ImmigrantsInATX to help spread awareness of our nonprofit – and we need your help!

Casa Marianella has fought hard over the past 3 decades to constantly provide services to immigrants in desperate need of shelter, food, legal support, and more. We are proud to have such a high rate of successful exits. Our main focus is to always provide a path to full self sufficiency for our residents.

Want to help Casa raise funds for this years #GivingTuesday? Here is how you can help:

  • Use the hashtags #GivingTuesday and #ImmigrantsInATX on Facebook and Twitter, and share your personal story of why giving to immigrants in need is important to YOU. Be sure to tag Casa Marianella, and encourage your friends and family to take part!
  • Follow us on Twitter @CasaMarianella1, on Facebook @CasaMarianella, and on Instagram @CasaMarianella for updates on all things #GivingTuesday
  • Follow our Rally.org page at https://rally.org/casamarianella, where you can point your friends and family to donate and stay updated with happenings at Casa!
  • Work at a company that may double donations made by employees? Ask them if they will match your donation!

Together, we can change the lives of immigrants in our community for the better. Casa Marianella is Where Hope Lives, and we will always strive to uplift our immigrant brothers and sisters.
