At Casa Marianella, we embrace our diverse and growing number of residents from all across the globe. Many of our residents have crossed oceans and dangerous lands to reach the United States. We are constantly in awe of the sacrifices they have made, and we are eternally thankful for the support Casa Marianella has received in order to service the immigrant community for the past 30+ years.

The Beauty of Diversity

Diversity is beautiful. At Casa Marianella, we celebrate the differing backgrounds of our residents. Diversity allows us to expand our perspectives on life, increasing our understanding of the world and its inhabitants, and giving us an overall richer life experience.

In 2017, we had one of our largest influxes of residents. Specifically in the last 3 months of 2017, we had a total of 78 immigrants come to live at Casa (25 of those people went to Posada Esperanza of Casa Marianella – our shelter for women and children fleeing cultural and domestic violence).

We are eternally thankful for the support of the ATX community for allowing Casa to continue fulfilling our mission into 2018.

We’re also thrilled that people are opening their hearts and homes to our residents through our transitional Hosting Program. Interested in hosted one of our residents for 3 months?
